The increasing demand for efficient surface treatment techniques in multiple industries has spurred considerable investigation into laser ablation. This research specifically contrasts the efficiency of pulsed laser ablation for the detachment of both paint layers and rust scale from ferrous substrates. We noted that while both materials are prone
